My sister started seeing a chiropractor in Beverly Hills after a pretty bad work accident. Though she was completely healed of her injuries, she continues to go every few months to get regular adjustments. She has told me before that I should go too, but I never seem to have the time for much of anything by the time I am done with work and taking care of the kids. When I fell while walking the dog, I figured that was a good time to finally take her up on her suggestion.
I knew that my back was hurt when I started to get up. I figured that it was probably just sore because the pain was not excruciating, and I gave it a couple of days to get better. Nothing seemed to bring me relief though, and I called my sister the next day to see if she would make me an appointment with her chiropractor. She even offered to drive me, which was a relief to me because I was having trouble just sitting without being in pain, and I did not want to think about driving a car anywhere.
Her chiropractor was really nice, and he was able to fit me in between two appointments since I was in a lot of pain. What I liked best about him is that he explained everything he was doing. I was nervous at first, but that didn’t last long after he started explaining why adjustments would help. He was very gentle, but the adjustments were firm, if that makes sense. I was expecting them to hurt, but they didn’t. It was actually the opposite. I felt so incredible after just the first adjustment, and I finally understood why my sister continues to see him. It is the same decision I made even after my back pain was gone after a couple of adjustments!
